Girls in STEM: Making it Happen

Join the founders of Power of Engineering to learn how to engage girls in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM). Explore career opportunities, female role models and effective activities. This masterclass will also teach practical ways to discuss STEM with girls, and will dispel prominent myths about related professions.

A light lunch will be provided.

This event is directed towards: high school career advisors; science, technology or mathematics teachers; and parents.

The event is being run as a collaboration between: Power of Engineering, Deakin University and the Foundation for Young Australians as part of 2016 Melbourne Knowledge Week.
